Gone fishin’

I saw this yesterday, posted outside the fish shop. It’s a cute sign and I’m all for long summer holidays, but SEVEN WEEKS of vacation? Good grief!

    Breathtaking. I’m envious, of course, and there are things about the United States French people think are incomprehensible (gun “control,” capital punishment, no universal health care …). But seven weeks? It’s almost like their job is their hobby, and vacation their vocation. I hope they reel in a big one.
