French felines

By Ann | June 23, 2010

I love cats. I love Paris. I love cats in Paris. But it turns out French felines are a little bit harder to capture on camera than their canine counterparts. Still, with a careful eye, you can find them slinking around the City of Light’s quiet corners.

Scampering down the rue du Cherche Midi.

Begging for ham at the B&B I stayed at in Burgundy.

Lurking in the garden of Notre Dame.

House huntress at a Left Bank bistro.

Hmmm… Paris: City of Cat?

Les chats sont super! They form a common link throughout the world so it seems.

Mon chat is all too willing to be still for the camera. :)

Too bad we couldn’t get a shot of the cat that lives by Maria Luisa! We’ll just have to go back, ,I guess…

    Beautiful catch.
When you visit rue Montorgueil, near Stroher, you’ll see an arrogant red haired one. Don’t miss it

My favorite feline resided in Luxembourg Gardens. I made a painting of that little arrogant miscreant that I have hanging in my kitchen to remind me of my very first visit to Paris.
